Margie A. Pizarro
Margie is a native of Walterboro, South Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clemson University and a Master of Education Degree from Columbia College. Margie received her Juris Doctor Degree from the Charleston School of Law in 2007, and she became a member of the South Carolina Bar in 2008. Before enrolling in law school, Margie spent 12 years as a classroom teacher in the School District of Greenville County.
While a student at the Charleston School of Law, Margie served in various organizations. She was a Charter Member of the Black Law Students Association and served as the organization's Vice President. At CSoL, Margie also was a member of the law school's first Moot Court Team, serving as Associate Justice for the 1L Competition. Margie was awarded a Merit Scholarship for her contributions and achievements during law school.
After graduating from the Charleston School of Law, Margie joined the prestigious firm of Savage & Savage, P.A., Charleston, South Carolina, in August 2007. She spent her first year in practice as an Associate working on high profile criminal matters.
Margie believed that in starting her own practice, she could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. In September 2008, she founded The Pizarro Law Firm LLC. Since opening its doors, Margie has represented numerous clients facing a variety of legal issues. The Pizarro Law Firm has allowed Margie to fully realize her passion for helping people at all levels of litigation and protection.
Margie is a member of the American Bar Association, the Charleston County Bar Association, and the Dorchester County Bar Association. She is licensed to practice in all South Carolina State and Federal Courts. Margie currently resides in Summerville, South Carolina.
